An interesting story is running on the Guardian newspaper (UK) about Pegasus, “the spyware manufactured by NSO Group, the Israeli purveyor of weapons of mass surveillance“.
The story mentions how the software, when installed, can be used to convert a mobile phone into a surveillance device enabling others to extract emails and media, photos and location, and can activate the microphone/camera to surreptitiously record the user in real-time.
