With the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions it was time to venture out of the house and further afield.
This was a holiday break to stay at a holiday cottage in North Wales – to an area which is a little further south than we’ve been before, Ceredigion, and is approx 3.5 hours drive from home.
The cottage is located about 4.0 miles from Aberaeron next to a village called Ciliau Aeron on the road from Aberaeron towards Lampeter
The property is semi-detached on a quiet park TyGlyn Holiday Cottages
13 Tyglyn Vale Meadow Cottages
Lots of outdoor space
You can walk to the village of Ciliau Aeron along the narrow country lanes and the area is very quiet. Not a lot to do in the village, didn’t see a shop, or pub etc. but scenic spots around.
Spot the cottage
A short drive takes you to the coastal town of Aberaeron and after a quick look around the town and harbour
We ventured out for a walk following the Aberaeron Circular Walk (approx 4.2 miles)
along part of the coastal path
Spent a day at Aberystwyth
enjoying the sun and scenery
and explored New Quay a bit further down the coast on another day
Back to Aberaeron, and an old shipwreck
