Recently obtained the Lenrue A15 Bluetooth (wireless) speaker having previously blown up the Cambridge 5.1 Sound Surround system which has been around for more than 20 years!!

What’s in the box

  • 1 x LENRUE IPX7 waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
  • 1 x 3.5mm Audio Cable
  • 1 x Micro USB Charging Cable
  • 1 x User Manual

The speaker has dimensions 17.5 x 5.51 x 6.1 cm and weighs 360 grammes

It can connect to your source device via Bluetooth 5.0 and incorporates an advanced antenna design, providing a range of up to 20m. It can also be connected directly using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX-in port if required.

The LENRUE A15 Bluetooth Speaker is designed to be waterproof and is rated as IPX7. The IPX7 rating means that the device is protected against temporary immersion in water at a depth up to 1 meter and for half an hour. (I don’t intend to test this claim however).

The in-built 2200 mAh battery is charged using the supplied Micro USB charging cable and
should last for up to 20 hours at 50% volume when fully charged.

Connected to my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 – Sound quality seems OK – so far so good.

(Has a TF card slot – is this the same as a micro SD card ? )
